Up to 60 vehicles were involved in the crash on Highway 11 in Ontario on February 7, leading to one fatality and several people with non-life-threatening injuries.
Footage captured from the scene shows the aftermath of the collision, with emergency responders working during heavy snowfall. A witness involved in the pileup described the sudden loss of visibility and the inability of drivers to react in time.
Authorities have urged drivers to avoid unnecessary travel and remain cautious as road crews continue their response efforts.
